State Tax Commissioners
The State Tax Commission is composed of three members chosen from the two major political parties. They are appointed by the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Senate. The Commissioners hold staggered terms of six years.
The current members are:
Bruce E. Davis, Chairman
Republican. Term expires January 23, 2010. First appointed to the State Tax Commission on July 1, 1990.
Prior to his appointment as Commissioner, Davis served six years as Administrative Secretary to the Commission. He also has held several positions in the Missouri Department of Revenue. Davis is a certified Government Financial Manager and Licensed Real Estate Broker.
Chairman Davis earned a bachelor's degree from Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri.
Randy Holman, Commissioner
Democrat. Term expires January 23, 2014. Appointed to the State Tax Commission on December 15, 2010.
Commissioner Holman is a Missouri State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. Before coming to the Tax Commission, Commissioner Holman served as Jefferson County Assessor since 1994. Prior to Assessor, he held the position of Director of Assessments in Jefferson County.
Commissioner Holman is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
